This term project was completed for my second-year art direction class. The prompt was as follows:
“By selecting an existing company or service of their choice, students will establish the art direction behind its rebrand that will lead a team of creatives to produce an effective and consistent renewed visual system - from the Creative Brief to the final visual identity presentation”
As an outdoor enthusiast, I was inspired to rebrand Ontario Parks, driven by the uninspiring and outdated nature of its current brand. My vision was to reimagine its identity to better reflect the breathtaking natural beauty of Ontario, making it more appealing to those who have a deep passion for the outdoors. My goal was to create a brand that's not only cooler but also more cohesive, paving the way for improved marketing materials and merchandise that truly resonate with nature lovers.
